I started diving in Monterey, California in 1988. Enjoying diving so much, I wanted to introduce others to diving so I started instructing in 1993. While in California, I was an active member of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Search and Recovery Dive Team. I am also a certified underwater investigator and prior Law enforcement both civilian and military.

When I’m not teaching, running the shop, servicing gear, or working on aircraft, I love to travel. I have traveled to and dived many exotic locations and plan to dive many more. My favorite dive destination is Bonaire, but I love anywhere warm and clear.

My instruction ranges from youth programs, EFR provider and instructor level training to Assistant Instructor including the dive specialties listed below:

Boat Diver, Search and Recovery Diver, Wreck Diver, Deep Diver, Night Diver, Drysuit Diver, Enriched Air (Nitrox) Diver, Altitude Diver, Full Face Mask Diver, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Equipment Specialist, PADI O2 Provider, Underwater Navigation, and Project Aware & Aware Coral Reef Conservation Specialties.

I also offer the following DAN student level courses: Emergency Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving injuries, Basic Life Support: CPR/First AID, First Aid for Marine Life Injuries, On-Site Neurological Assessment for Divers, Diving Emergency Management Provider Program (DEMP), CPR: Health Care Provider, and Diving First Aid for Professional Divers.
